Red Cedar VS Other Pines
1. The color of red cedar board is between light pink to dark brown, and that of common pine board is off white to off yellow.
2. Red cedar board is a kind of natural anti-corrosion wood, which can achieve anti-corrosion effect without anti-corrosion treatment. Other kinds of pine have poor anti-corrosion performance and are easy to be corroded by termites and insects.
3. Excellent stability, not easy to deform. It will not pollute the environment. It can be used in particularly dry or humid environment. Its service life can be as long as 30-50 years. It is known as the tree of life. Other pines are easy to deform and crack when used in bad weather. Their service life is about one third less than that of red cedar.
